Shanghai Conservatory of Music
He Lanqing, Executive Director of the Cello Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music, continued her music study in California, and received a performance diploma from the US government. She was a cellist in the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, now works in the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra with the title of national first-class performer in China and in parallel serves for the Shanghai Conservatory of Music as a cello teacher.
In the Fifth National Cello Competition of the Aegean Cup organized by the Chinese Cello Society in 2012, Lanqing’s students won five first prizes (four first prizes in professional group and one first prize in amateur group) and she herself was honored excellent teacher prize. In the Schoenfeld International String Competition held in Hong Kong in 2013, both her students He Jiayin and Xu Xuanhan won the first place in each of their own group. In September 1995, she gave performance on the cello at the Welcoming Ceremony of the Fourth United Nations World Conference on Women in Beijing. After graduation from Shanghai Conservatory, she was directly admitted to Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. she has successfully visited art festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Japan (five big cities), the United States (ten big cities), Hong Kong, Macao and other places with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. During her career, she has participated in about 60 Symphony performances every year and toured the whole country and all over the world.
