A Graduate of the Diploma in Music and Technology Course (DMAT) in Singapore Polytechnic and bachelor’s degree in Guitar Performance in Musician’s Institute, Hollywood (MI). KC has been actively involved in gigs and session work with both local and overseas act.

Alongside local producer/keyboardist Jerry Poh, KC recorded guitars for local TV drama’s theme songs such as ‘Try Try Try’ and ‘有你来作伴’ for Channel 8 drama ‘I want to be Towkay.’ He also did guitar studio work for local artiste such as Leon 林昱志 , Lennerd Lim 林健輝 and Stanly Neo 杨松盛. Aside from the local scene, he also wrote, co-produced and recorded guitar for US based Swedish Country Artiste Sandra North’s Single titled ‘You’ which received a lot of airplays throughout United Kingdom, United States and Sweden radio stations.

Apart from being a session guitar player, KC also released his own music as a Solo Artiste. He released an instrumental track single in 2021 titled ‘City Lights’. KC is also currently in a local band ‘好小子Little Fellas’ alongside Jerry Poh and Shin Xu, a Singer/Songwriter. The band had released an EP titled ‘新世界’ in 2016.

Over the years, KC has been actively performing in the local music scene. He had performed alongside with heavy weights 陈伟联, 潘嘉丽 (绝对 Superstar) and Falling Feathers (Warner Music Artiste). In 2017, he had supported 陈伟联 and 潘嘉丽 ‘Concert in the park’ Show and opened for American Bands (Mayday Parade/Before You Exit) together with Falling Feathers (2016, 2017).
