These are fees paid for the registration and the administration of enrolment and audition. The fees paid in each process are a one-time payment and is non-refundable even in case the application is unsuccessful.

Non-Tuition Fees
These are essential fees paid to support compliance with the support mechanism held to uphold the welfare of all students studying at Hitmaker Global Academy. The non-tuition fees are non-refundable and not transferrable if the student withdraws from the Academy.

Fees Payment Policies
A. Fees and Application Fees
All fees paid are non-transferable (to the next person) and will only be valid for 6 months.
B. Discounted prices
Hitmaker Global Academy clearly states discounted prices. Discounted prices are prominently displayed in the reception and clearly defined in the Standard Student Contract and marketing communication materials.

C. Promotional Offers
Students will be notified of any promotional offers via the website, marketing brochures, notices put up on the notice board. The information will state clearly the period for which the promotion is valid. The management reserves the final right to revoke, amend or change its offers.
D. Payment methods and channels
The fees are paid to Hitmaker Global Academy in cash, Cheque/ Cashier’s Order in Singapore dollars, Credit Card and Telegraphic Transfer for international students. A receipt will be issued for the amount paid.
All course fees on a monthly or instalment basis must be paid on or before the due date. Payment made seven working days after the scheduled due date is considered late. Hitmaker Global Academy shall be entitled to levy an additional administration charge of $15 per month (Part-time course), and $30 per month (Full-time Course) (subject to change) until such outstanding payment is settled in full.
Students are advised to collect the official receipt/ invoice from Hitmaker Global Academy for any fee payment made to Hitmaker Global Academy Pte Ltd. Any cheque payment must be crossed and made payable to Hitmaker Global Academy Pte Ltd.
The course fees and other fees do not include expenses to be paid to third parties (i.e. examination fees, Medical check-ups, studio and additional facilities fees) unless otherwise stated. All the fees to be paid/ collected are clearly stated in the Standard Student Contract.

Hitmaker Global Academy is committed to the avoidance of over or undercharging. List of course fees used is clear and legible, reflecting the total amount payable and its breakdown. The total amount of course fees payable and the breakdowns are clearly reflected in the Standard Student Contract, Payment Schedules, official receipts, and communication materials.
v) Charges by Third Parties (if applicable)
The students have the responsibility to pay for the charges to the Third Party:
• The student needs to submit the medical report to the school and ICA to apply for Student Pass and the renewal of their Student Pass. (Medical Check-up fees have to be borne by students themselves.)
• If the laboratory experiment in partial fulfilment of the course that the student has enrolled for, the student needs to pay charges for doing laboratory experiment. The fees given to the school upon registration are not inclusive of charges for doing laboratory experiment.
• The students have the responsibility to pay the examination fees if the examination is held by a third party, like IELTS exam, AVID Exam, ABRSM, RSL examination and certification fees, etc.

vii) Fee Protection Scheme/Industry-Wide Coverage
Hitmaker Global Academy confirms and undertakes to the student that it has a Fee Protection Scheme/IWC with Lonpac Insurance Bhd through an insurance facility.
The school ensures all the fees upon collection from students.
Fees to be insured (stated in Student Contract): Course fees, Material fees, Medical Insurance fee, Fee Protection Scheme fee, School Uniform fee, International Student Support Fee and Membership fee
viii) Medical Insurance
Hitmaker Global Academy hereby confirms and undertakes to the student that it has a comprehensive Medical Insurance Scheme with Prudential Assurance Co. Singapore Pte Ltd for all students. A Singapore Citizen/ PR or Non-Student Pass International student protected by his/her medical insurance coverage in Singapore can opt out from the Medical Insurance Scheme arranged by Hitmaker Global Academy. The medical insurance benefits schedule is available on the student contract, school website and on the noticeboard. The students are advised to check for Group Hospital and Surgical Claim procedure on the school website.
ix) Outstanding Payments
The school reserves the rights to withhold the Course Completion Certificate or the result of the test/ examination
• If The student has not paid in full fees payable to the school;
• If the student has not complied fully with the conditions under which an instalment payment has been granted to him/her.

Fee Protection Scheme
The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) serves to protect students’ fees in the event of a PEI (Private Education Institution) being unable to continue operations due to insolvency and/or regulatory closure. It was first launched as the Student Protection Scheme (SPS) initiated by CaseTrust and it has been replaced with FPS (Fee Protection Scheme) under EduTrust. PEIs which are EduTrust-certified can collect a maximum of 12 months of fees from students, and these fees have to be protected.
In full compliance with the EduTrust guidelines set by CPE (Committee for Private Education), Hitmaker Global Academy provides fee protection for the fees paid by our students in the form of an Insurance Protection Scheme. Hitmaker Global Academy’s FPS is applicable to all students who are enrolled in any of our courses and pay FPS fee.

Hitmaker Global Academy hereby confirms and undertakes to the student that it has in place a Fee Protection Scheme with Lonpac Insurance Bhd by way of an insurance facility. The Private Education Act has been put in place the mandatory requirement of Fee Protection Scheme (FPS). This requirement is regulated by the Committee of Private Education, by way of insurance coverage for all full-time and part-time students. The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) applies to ALL students (regardless of nationality and the type of passes or identification held, i.e. dependent’s pass, student’s pass, work permit etc). Under this regulation, it is mandatory for all students to apply for FPS and sign CPE PEI-Student Contract when they enroll for courses with Hitmaker Global Academy.
Upon application of EduTrust, Hitmaker Global Academy undertakes that:
(i) The cover under the Master Insurance Agreement shall be extended to the Student;
(ii) Hitmaker Global Academy will purchase the insurance within 7 working days once the Student pays the fees; and
(iii) The insured period will commence from the fee payment date to the end date of the course.
Insured Events
• Loss of ‘Course Fees’ by Insured Student due to Insolvency or Regulatory Closure of PEI;
• Failure of PEI to pay Sum awarded by Singapore Courts to Insured Student;
• Death by Accident or Total Permanent Disability by Accident of Insured Student;
Protected Fees
The Academy insures all the fees upon collection from students.

Definitions
All fees: It refers to all monies that are paid by the student to be enrolled in the Academy except for the course ‘Application Fee’ and ‘Agent Commission Fee’ (if applicable).
Application Fee: It refers to the fee the student pay the Academy for the sole purpose of processing the application form submitted so that the Academy can check if the student meets the course admission requirements. (Not refundable and not protected)
Agent Commission Fee: If the student is registered through the College-appointed Student Recruitment Agent, the % of course fees agreed will be transferred to the Agent upon student’s commencement of the course.
Miscellaneous Fees: There is another type of fee payable which is referred to as ‘Miscellaneous Fees’. It refers to any non-compulsory and non-standard fee which the students will pay only when necessary or applicable. Such fee is normally collected on an ad-hoc basis by the Academy when the need arises. The Miscellaneous fees need not be protected but they will be reflected clearly in the Student Contract. (Not refundable and not protected)

Fees are subject to change but the Academy ensures that the information is updated and made available to the students, intending students and prospective students within 14 days after the change.
Insurance Procedure
The Academy will buy insurance at the point when the student pays the course fees to us/ within seven day that the student pays school’s fees to Hitmaker Global Academy. If the money is transferred via e-banking to us, the Academy will buy the insurance policy within three days. Student will receive a soft copy of the Certificate of Insurance (COI) by email from the operating agent of the insurance provider, and the hardcopy of the Certificate (COI) from Hitmaker Global Academy. Student can inform the Academy if they do not receive such a certificate.
Insurance Claim
All claims shall be made on the Insurance Provider’s prescribed forms and submitted to them as soon as reasonably possible together with all supporting documents, including the original copy of the receipt issued by Hitmaker Global Academy, and information that they may require.
Notes
• Students are advised to check the Insurance Policy Certificate of Student Insurance they will get from the Insurance Provider for insured amounts and period of insurance.
Important notes for Students on Fee Protection Scheme
• When signing of the student contract, check that insurance protection is included in the contract.
• A copy of the Certificate of Insurance (COI) bought in the respective student’s name will be mailed to him/ her by the insurance company.
• Make sure that the amount of fees paid, and not the premium amount, is equal to the amount insured.
• Check that the insurance coverage period starts from the date student paid their fees to Hitmaker Global Academy.

For the avoidance of doubt, if the Student and/or his/her parent/guardian receives any payment from Hitmaker Global Academy or Lonpac Insurance Bhd pursuant to a provision of this Agreement or the Master Insurance Policy in respect of any matter or damage, then the Student and his/her parent/guardian shall not be entitled to claim against Hitmaker Global Academy or Lonpac Insurance Bhd for the same payment in respect of the same matter or damage pursuant to any other provision of this Agreement or the Master Insurance Policy.

A Singapore Citizen/ PR or Non-Student Pass International student who is protected by his/her own medical insurance coverage in Singapore can opt out from the Medical Insurance Scheme arranged by Hitmaker Global Academy. The medical insurance benefits schedule is available on the student contract, College website and on the noticeboard. The students are advised to check for Group Hospital and Surgical Claim procedure on the Academy website.
Procedures for purchasing of insurance
This is a group insurance package which is directly signed by Hitmaker Global Academy and the Prudential Assurance Co. Singapore (Pte) Ltd. in contractual agreement. The insurance coverage will be effective once the student pays all the fees payable to the school including his premiums.
*Special notes: The above-mentioned medical insurance is the basic coverage as required under the law by the Singapore government. For students who wish to increase their scope of coverage, they are to contact the insurance company individually.

Refund Policies
Hitmaker Global Academy has a transparent and fair refund policy for all fee payment made.
REFUND POLICY
The Academy offers refunds to students, depending on whether they are determined to have withdrawn from the course due to non-delivery of course or due to other reasons. The Academy attempts to manage refunds for students under various conditions in a fair and acceptable manner. Applications for a refund must be made by completing a Withdrawal/ Refund Request Form (HGA_WDR_2023_0), which is available from the Administrative staff.
The withdrawal/refund form has to be submitted and signed by the parent or guardian if the student is below 18 years old. The student must fully explain the reason for the request and must be accompanied by supporting documents (if applicable).
Hitmaker Global Academy has a transparent and fair refund policy for all course fees payment made.
The refund of course fees will be based on the refund policy below:
Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course:
The Student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the Course in such circumstances. The PEI will notify the student within three (3) working days upon knowledge of any of the following:
• Hitmaker Global Academy fails, for any reason, to commence the course on the course commencement date;
• Hitmaker Global Academy terminates the course, for any reason, prior to the course commencement date;
• Hitmaker Global Academy fails, for any reason, to complete the course by the course completion date;
• Hitmaker Global Academy terminates the course, for any reason, prior to course completion date; or
• It has not ensured that the Student meets the course entry or matriculation requirement as set by the organisation within any stipulated timeline set by CPE
• The Student Pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
Notification and Arrangement
Hitmaker Global Academy shall, within three (3) working days notify the Student through phone call, email, in person or in writing of above circumstances (i–vi), provide the Student with information and details of the alternative confirmed course arrangement to allow the Student to make timely and appropriate decision on the alternative arrangement. The student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the Course by giving written notice to Hitmaker Global Academy of his/her intention to do so if Hitmaker Global Academy is in breach of any of its obligations under the above circumstances. The student is entitled to a refund of the entire Course Fees and Additional Fees stated in the student contract (eg. Fees Protection Scheme, Medical Insurance, Course Material fee, School Uniform fee and International Student Support fee) already paid should the student decide to withdraw, within seven (7) working days upon receiving the notice to withdraw accompanied with the completed and signed Withdrawal/ Refund Form and any necessary documentation.
Application fee is non-refundable upon payment (special cases subject to approval from the Principal).
Refunds for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons:
Refund request must be made and withdrawal form has to be submitted and signed by Parent or guardian if student is below 18 years old.
Where the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than the above causes, Hitmaker Global Academy shall as soon as practicable after receiving the Student’s written notice of withdrawal (and in any event no more than seven (7) working days after receiving such notice), refund to the Student the following sums (less any applicable bank administrative charges paid).

Amount of fees to be refunded:
Application fee is non-refundable upon payment (special cases subject to approval from the Principal).
The amount refunded is based on when the Student’s written notice of withdrawal is received, as indicated above, less any 3rd party charges; Bank administrative fee are non-refundable as bank administrative fee is imposed by the bank.
COOLING-OFF PERIOD
Hitmaker Global Academy shall provide Students with a cooling-off period of (7) working days after signing the CPE Standard PEI-Student Contract. In other words, there will be a 7 working days Cooling-off period from the date of signing of the Student Contract which will allow for a Full refund of fees stated in the student contract that is already paid, should student decide to withdraw within this period. Student has a 7-days cooling-off period after signing the Contract, during which they are entitled to receive the full refund of the fees that is already paid.
Refunds will be made to student within 7 working days upon receipt of the signed withdrawal form and complete submission of all required documents. Refund request must be made and withdrawal form has to be submitted and signed by Parent or guardian if student is below 18 years old.
The Academy has the right to delay a course if the conditions to commence the course are not met such as not meeting the minimum student number to commence the course. Such decision will be made known to student at least 1 week before the scheduled commencement date.
CONDITIONS FOR NO REFUND
There will be no refund of course fees and miscellaneous fees for students who have to terminate their studies due to disciplinary action being meted out for failing to abide by the regulations and guidelines of Hitmaker Global Academy and/ or Singapore Authorities.
The refund policies do not apply:
• when students are asked to leave the Academy because of disciplinary matters;
• when students violate the laws of Singapore;
• when student breaches the CPE Standard PEI-Student Contract;
