Candidates for the Music Stream are required to perform two contrasting pieces. These performances should not exceed 10 minutes in total. The contrasting pieces should demonstrate different styles or periods, allowing students to display their range and depth as musicians. Following the performance, there will be a 15-minute interview. This interview is designed to understand the candidate’s musical background, aspirations, and how they see themselves contributing to and benefiting from the Music VCE program at Hitmaker High School.

For VCE Business Stream:

Applicants for the Business program will have a 15-minute interview. This session aims to assess the candidate’s interest in business studies, their understanding of basic business concepts, and their long-term career goals. The interview also provides an opportunity for students to ask questions about the program and discuss how Hitmaker High School can help them achieve their aspirations.

For VCE Art Stream:

For the Art Stream, applicants are expected to present a portfolio of their work. After the portfolio presentation, there will be a 15-minute interview.
